  • Developed software applications to decrease the amount of time it took for product engineers to design and produce custom drill bits, and specialty cutting tools
    • The applications would convert customer specifications into custom generated blueprints for manufacturing
    • The applications would calculate precise dimensions having mathematical tolerances within .001" and provide tooling information and machine inputs for production operators
    • These programs replaced the pre-war paper system of blueprints and manufacturing processes into a streamlined and efficient modern process
    • These computerized tool design programs were a major part of the LEAN manufacturing process
  • Managed a product MS Access database of more than 40,000 tools
  • Implemented a plant-wide system of computer kiosks that quickly provided operators with vital production data and product blueprints as well as safety, procedural, and time card related information
